National Testing Agency (NTA) Launches Mobile App For Mock Tests

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a mobile application through which students can practice or take mock tests on their smartphones.

Now, the candidates who are appearing for JEE Main, NEET or NTA NET exams will be able to practice for these competitive exams using an official app. The NTA or National Testing Agency, the newly formed organisation which conducts Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) main for undergraduate engineering admissions and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for medical admissions, has launched a mobile application through which students can practice or take mock tests on their smartphones, according to the government. 

The NTA recently conducted two competitive examinations under its supervision, the first edition of JEE Main 2019 in January and National Eligibility Test (NET) in December last year. 

The second edition of JEE Main 2019 will be held in April for which the registration will begin next week.

The registration for NEET 2019 is over and the entrance test will be held in May.

In reply to a question in Lok Sabha, Union Minister of State for HRD Satyapal Singh said that in order to ensure no student is disadvantaged, the NTA has established a network of more than 4,000 Test Practice Centres (TPCs) to acquainten aspirants, especially those from rural areas, with computer-based tests (CBTs). 

Students across the country can register themselves online at the NTA Website or the NTA students app for visiting the TPCs, he said, adding all these services are provided to the students free-of-cost. 

More than one lakh students have registered at these TPCs and over one crore students have benefited from these app and web services, he added.

AIIMS MBBS 2019: Code Generation for Final Registration begins today at aiimsexams.org

AIIMS MBBS 2019 final registration and code generation process will begin today. The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) has started the code generation for final registration for AIIMS MBBS 2019 from today i.e. 7th February 2019 and it will continue until 17th February 2019. Candidates who have completed the preliminary registration process and whose applications have been accepted by AIIMS will now have to generate the code for further processing. In order to generate the AIIMS MBBS 2019 Final Registration code, candidates will have to visit the official website of AIIMS i.e. aiimsexams.org.

AIIMS 2019 MBBS registration process comprises of three steps i.e. Basic Registration, Code Generation and Final Registration. As per the official notification, the Basic registration process for AIIMS MBBS 2019 ended in January 2019 and the Code Generation for Final Registration process is now available for the candidates. Code generation process for AIIMS MBBS 2019 application is a mandatory process without which candidates will not be able to complete the final registration process, which includes payment of fees and selection of examination centre.

AIIMS MBBS 2019: How to Generate Code for Final Registration

Candidates who have completed the basic registration for AIIMS 2019 MBBS application process can now Generate Code for the Final Registration by following the simple steps listed below:

• Visit the official website of AIIMS i.e. aiimsexams.org
• Find and select Academic Courses link on the home page
• Click on MBBS to go to login page for AIIMS 2019 MBBS exam registration
• Generate Code for the exam you are applying for
• You will receive the Code on your registered email id and mobile number
• Pay the AIIMS 2019 MBBS Application Fees
• Select the test centre for the exam
• Complete the final registration process

After the generation of code, the AIIMS MBBS 2019 Final Registration will begin on 21st February and continue until 12th March 2019. Candidates who have completed code generation process will be able to complete the final registration. As per the official notification for AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam will be held on 25th and 26th May at different test centres across the city.

GUWAHATI: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is currently in Guwahati to inaugurate several projects in the state. He is all set to kick-start the construction of AIIMS Assam, which wants to make affordable super-speciality healthcare accessible to the people of Northeast. 

The institute is located in Changsari, near Guwahati and has an area of 190 acres. The estimated cost for its construction is Rs. 1,123 crores. 

The medical college will have an intake capacity of 100 MBBS students per year, while the nursing college will have an intake capacity of 60 students per year. The institute will have 22 super speciality departments, including 16 operation theatres.

AIIMS MBBS 2019: Last Chance To Upload Correct Image In Application Form

New Delhi: 

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has called on the applicants for undergraduate medical courses one last time to upload corrected image in place of rejected image. Candidates would not get any further opportunity to upload correct image in their application forms. The uploading of corrected image will begin from today (February 8, 2019) and end on February 11, 2019.

After the process of uploading corrected image is over, AIIMS will release the final status (accepted or rejected) of Basic Registration for AIIMS UG Courses 2019. The final status will be released on February 12, 2019.

Candidates are advised to read the image upload guidelines carefully and upload correct image within the given correction window. Failure to upload correct image may lead to rejection of their application and they won't be able to apply for the exam during the final registration stage.

The panicky father of a 40 per cent visually impaired boy arrived in the national capital from Kaithal in Haryana Tuesday morning to meet disability rights activists. Unwilling to give out his name, the man said he fears his son, studying in Class 12, might not be able to take the medical entrance exam in absence of final guidelines from the Medical Council of India (MCI) for persons with disabilities.

“My son has been preparing for NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) for two years. Time is running out, I could no longer sit at home, so I packed my bags and came to Delhi though I have little clue about what is to be done. I will meet activists, maybe I will go to the health ministry,” he said.
